If a moving company tells you "YES WE ARE INSURED" Please for your
peace of mind check what kind of insurance the movers are carrying.
Liability Insurance will not protect you from your mover dropping or braking
your items when loading or unloading your truck or theirs. They may have
cargo insurance but this insurance only pays out at most .60 cents per
pound of cargo or item. So in other words you pay $3000 for your bed and it
is damaged. If it weighed 150lbs your replacement would be $90. I think
not !! Your mover should be carrying an insurance called Care, Custody &
Control Insurance not less then $150,000 & $10,000 per item. Now your

$10,000.00 for any one item.
Our policy includes the standard coverage for items packed by our moving professionals , but also includes coverage for bodily
injury and property damage not included with most movers insurance. The best part is that all of this coverage is at no
additional cost to you.

* $150,000 any one claim made in respect of items in N.E.S.W. Movers care, custody and control.
* $10,000 any one item, box or package in N.E.S.W. Movers care, custody and control.
General Liability: Bodily Injury / Property Damage
* $1,000,000 any one claim made
* $2,000,000 in the aggregate for policy period
Damage to items, including boxes professionally packed by the N.E.S.W. Movers. Requires a corresponding job number.
Damage to any owner-packed items and boxes evidenced by external damage.
Exclusions / Limitations:
Coverage for Bodily Injury is excluded from coverage should Bodily Injury while Homeowner or Owner of Possessions is
assisting the N.E.S.W. Movers in packing, loading or unloading.
